STAFF AND COACHES

Elvis Sinosic
Australian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Pioneer
Chief Instructor Elvis Sinosic heads Kings Academy. He is the pioneer of Grappling and MMA in Australia. He is Australia’s first UFC Fighter, the first Australian to fight for a UFC World Title, the first Australian to win the Absolute division at the Pan Pacific Championships, the first Australian to compete at ADCC and the first person in ADCC history to win with a Heel Hook submission. Elvis has been training Martial Arts for over 40 years and continues to pass on his knowledge to his students. Elvis also continues to compete and has won several silver and bronze medals at the IBJJF Masters and NoGi World Championships in his weight and open divisions. Elvis was also a fight analyst on Fox Sports for UFC Fight Week passing on his knowledge and breaking down UFC fights for the fans. You will not find anyone more experienced or knowledgeable in Australia!
Elvis is a 5th Degree Black Belt in BJJ, A Kru in Muay Thai, and an accredited coach in Boxing and Wrestling.
Elvis is involved in Coaching all the classes and is always at the gym to assist with the students training and helping them achieve their goals.
UFC Veteran Elvis Sinosic
Elvis Sinosic is a UFC veteran and one of Australia’s most respected pioneers of mixed martial arts. As the first Australian to compete in the UFC and fight for a World Title, Elvis brings decades of elite-level experience across Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling and MMA.
Throughout his career, Elvis has competed internationally against world-class opponents, giving him a deep understanding of what it takes to perform at the highest level of combat sports. This experience now forms the foundation of his coaching philosophy at Kings Academy.
Elvis is known for his technical precision, structured teaching style and ability to guide students from complete beginners through to professional fighters. His coaching focuses on strong fundamentals, intelligent training methods and long-term athlete development rather than short-term intensity.
At Kings Academy, Elvis plays a key role in shaping the overall training system, ensuring every program reflects the values he has built throughout his career—discipline, respect, consistency and continuous improvement.
Whether you're training for fitness, confidence, self-defence or competition, you are learning within a system influenced by real UFC experience and decades of high-level martial arts development.
